Over the next three weeks in Tanzania, we’ll combine our skills to build our water systems, run school activities, and strengthen partnerships of the local community and authorities. This mission builds upon our previous successful installations in the Babati District, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to the region.

Main Activities
Installation of a Rainwater Harvesting System at Qash Primary School
We will construct an 80,000-liter rainwater harvesting system at Qash Primary School. This system will significantly improve the school's access to water throughout the year, especially during the dry season.
Upgrading filtration System Upgrade at Mbulungu Primary School
The existing filtration system at Mbulungu Primary School will be upgraded to Increase filtration efficiency and ensure consistent, safe use by students and staff.
Monitoring and Evaluation of Existing Water Systems
As part of our long-term sustainability strategy, the team will conduct performance assessments and water quality checks on all systems installed in previous years. This includes verifying system functionality and strengthening local maintenance capabilities.
Building Knowledge Together.
Beyond infrastructure, this delegation emphasizes knowledge transfer and training. Our volunteers will expand technical training programs for local technicians and teachers in Mbulungu and Endadosh, sharing hands-on skills to maintain systems independently.
Water Education for Students
Education is at the heart of sustainable development. Through interactive water education activities, students in Mbulungu, Endadosh, and Qash will learn about water conservation, hygiene, and the science behind clean water.
Collaboration and Continuity.
Every visit is also about maintaining and deepening trust. We’ll meet again with local authorities - at the regional, district, and village levels — as well as with RUWASA, STC, and others officials to review progress and plan next steps.
Goals Beyond Construction
Our work begins with engineering, but it grows through people. Each system we build is also a meeting point - where technical design meets human connection, and where sustainable impact depends on trust, learning, and shared responsibility.

Seminar for School Leaders: Building a Shared Vision
On October 13, our delegation will host a seminar for school principals in Babati, bringing together educators from Qash, Mbulungu, Endadosh, and other 11 schools we have build over the years. This event reflects our true value: sustainable systems depend on sustainable communities.
The seminar was designed with three intertwined goals:
Strengthening community among principals – creating a network of mutual support and open dialogue.
Encouraging shared learning – through collaborative workshops where participants exchange practical experiences from their schools.
Connecting the organization with the field on a human level – transforming “project sites” into an interconnected educational ecosyste

From Systems to People: The Role of STC
Our close partner, STC, plays a vital role in this process. As a long-standing local NGO with deep community roots, STC serves as the bridge between technology and local ownership. Once our engineering systems are installed, STC ensures that they are fully integrated into the community’s daily life - transferring both the knowledge and responsibility to local stakeholders.
During this delegation, our collaboration with STC expanded beyond infrastructure. Together, we began designing new educational initiatives focused on water awareness and system maintenance.

Stay tuned for updates from the field!
