For the next 3 weeks, our delegation will focus on key objectives aimed at improving water access and sustainability in rural Tanzania. This mission builds upon our previous successful installations in the Babati District, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to the region.

Key Activities
Installation of a Rainwater Harvesting System at Endadosh Primary School
We will construct an 80,000-liter rainwater harvesting system at Endadosh Primary School. This system will significantly improve the school's access to water throughout the year, especially during the dry season.
Filtration System Upgrade at Mbulungu Primary School
The existing filtration system at Mbulungu Primary School will be upgraded to Increase filtration efficiency and ensure consistent, safe use by students and staff.
Monitoring and Evaluation of Existing Water Systems
As part of our long-term sustainability strategy, the team will conduct performance assessments and water quality checks on all systems installed in previous years. This includes verifying system functionality and strengthening local maintenance capabilities.
Expanded technical training Programming in Mbulungu and Endadosh
An extended technical training program will be implemented both at Mbulungu and Endadosh schools. The program will focus on water conservation, hygiene practices, and system maintenance, fostering community engagement and sustainable use of the systems.
Strategic Field Tours
As part of the delegation, we will conduct five field tours in collaboration with RUWASA*, STC*, and CCA*. These tours will cover schools in the wards of Duru, Nkaiti, Qash, Mamire, and Galapo. The purpose is to explore new communities for potential water system installations and support our expansion into new areas.

New Partnership: MOU with STC
A new Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between EWB and STC, outlining our shared responsibilities for water system projects.
EWB will lead system construction, WASH education development, remote maintenance, and water quality testing.
STC will support school and community communication, provide logistics assistance, and conduct impact evaluations.
