Our Solution
Rainwater Harvesting System
Our system collects rainwater and stores the water for the dry season.
We use the roofs of existing buildings, and install gutters at the edge of the roofs for a maximum collection of water.
The water flows into the containers, through the central pipe.
We ensure the quality of water by using the First Flush system, a sieve, preventing stagnant water, and using chlorine tablets.
The System
designed by the volunteer students in the engineering school of Tel Aviv University.
A system that consists of a roof with two gutters 20 meters long each, can store at least 40,000 liters.
